Signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Applied Science and Technology and the University of Belgrade

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the University of Applied Science and Technology and the University of Belgrade, the largest university in Serbia.

According to the public relations of the University of Applied Science and Technology, Dr. Hossein Bolandy, the head of the University of Applied Science and Technology, met with Dr. Vladan Djokic, President of the University of Belgrade, and Dragan Todorovic, Ambassador of Serbia to Iran.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Vladan Djokic, President of the University of Belgrade, introduced the structure of the University and the history, experiences and national and international achievements of the University and expressed hope that in the near future bilateral cooperation between the two universities in student exchange and establishment of joint innovation centers be done.

Then, Dr. Hossein Bolandy, the head of the University of Applied Science and Technology, stated in a speech: Curriculum development in the University of Applied Science and Technology is done based on the needs of the labor market, so we are constantly updating and monitoring these disciplines according to the needs of the target community.

Dr. Bolandy added: "According to studies, 85% of the graduates of the University of Applied Science and Technology are attracted to the labor market or are entrepreneurs."

 He further stated: the University of Applied Science and Technology has 571 centers of applied science education throughout the country, more than 220,000 students and more than 37,000 teachers.

The head of the University of Applied Science and Technology, while expressing hope for the exchange of experiences between the two universities, said: "We must provide conditions so that we can provide mutual services to the people of Iran and Serbia."

Dr. Bolandy stated: "What should be taken into account is that a country like Iran and Serbia can prevent coercion from other countries by uniting their spirit and writing common and synergistic ideals."

At the end of his speech, the head of the University of Applied Science and Technology said: "We hope that this meeting and the conclusion of this memorandum will be a good starting point for academic, cultural and economic cooperation between Iran and Serbia."

 At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Applied Science and Technology and the University of Belgrade was signed by Dr. Hossein Bolandy and Dr. Vladan Djokic.
