n Friday, May 1, 2025, a delegation from the German Association for Trade Brokerage with Developing Countries (DHV), including Dr. Jazayeri (Regional Director of DHV), Mr. Ulrich Baltzer (Senior Advisor to DHV), and Mr. Sorooudi (Energy Consultant to DHV), visited the Kousha University of Applied Science and Technology. During their visit, they toured the university’s educational and workshop facilities and engaged in discussions on potential avenues for expanding international cooperation with Germany in areas relevant to the center’s activities.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Bagheri Farahani, Acting Director of the Office of Scientific and International Cooperation of the University of Applied Science and Technology, as well as Dr. Sajjadi and Mr. Boroujerdi, directors of the Kousha center. The session included a presentation on the center’s background in areas such as shoe mold design, the transfer of modern rail welding technologies, and the elevator industry. Technological, innovative, and entrepreneurial achievements were introduced through the Elevator Technology Cluster Incubator, along with student-led projects and products in the fields of shoe mold design and rail welding.

Proposed areas of cooperation included holding specialized training courses on shoe mold design to enhance the technical knowledge of applied science instructors, launching joint production projects for shoe manufacturing aimed at export to regional markets, and pursuing joint investment in manufacturing initiatives.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed on a timetable for drafting a joint business proposal in the field of shoe mold design and organizing relevant train-the-trainer programs.
