In line with introducing the capacities of the University of Applied Science and Technology (UAST) and expanding its international outreach, as well as becoming acquainted with the scientific and educational opportunities and capabilities of East Asian countries, a virtual meeting was held between the Office of Scientific and International Cooperation of the University and the Scientific Counsellor of Iran in China, South Korea, and Japan on Sunday, June 8, 2025. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Bagheri, Director General of the Office of Scientific and International Cooperation of UAST, presented an overview of the university’s strengths and capacities, emphasizing the importance of skill-oriented education in today’s world. He elaborated on the philosophy, objectives, and mission of the university in the field of applied and vocational education and highlighted the key international activities that have been implemented so far.
